From Sandwich it’s one road most of the way. Route 130 runs south through Forestdale and drops you at the Mashpee rotary, with Illusions at 24 Steeple Street in Mashpee Commons a minute from there — around twenty minutes from Sandwich village.
Sandwich is one of the steadier groups in our book, and Forestdale guests in particular are closer to us than to almost anything in their own town. A number have been with the same stylist here for years.
Since 1989 we’ve built the salon on color: partial and full foils, single-process, balayage, baby lights and root melt, plus the color corrections other salons would rather not take on. Cuts for the whole family, smoothing treatments for what the Cape Cod humidity does, and bridal styling round out the menu — so the whole visit happens in one place.

Questions We Get Asked
We’re in Mashpee Commons, about ten miles south of Sandwich village. Route 130 runs almost the whole way — roughly twenty minutes from the village, and about twelve from Forestdale.
Yes, and it’s free. Mashpee Commons has open parking throughout, including spaces along Steeple Street outside the salon. Park once and you can fold the appointment into the rest of your errands without moving the car.
We do, and Sandwich is one of the larger groups of guests we see from outside Mashpee. New guests are always welcome. If you’re coming for color, mention it when you book and we’ll allow extra time for a proper consultation first.
Yes, and most of our color guests do. Mention both when you book so we can allow the time. If you’re adding a smoothing treatment, we’ll sequence it properly — color first, then smooth — so neither service compromises the other.
