If you live in East Falmouth and you’ve been driving into Falmouth or down to Hyannis for a colorist you trust, Illusions is closer than you think. We’re at 24 Steeple Street in Mashpee Commons — a straight run east on Route 28, about fifteen minutes from most of East Falmouth.

And you wouldn’t be the first. East Falmouth is comfortably the largest group of guests we see from outside Mashpee itself. A good number of them have been coming to the same stylist here for years, driving past two or three closer salons to do it.

Since 1989 we’ve built the salon on color: partial and full foils, single-process, balayage, baby lights and root melt, plus the color corrections other salons would rather not take on. Cuts for the whole family, smoothing treatments for what the Cape Cod humidity does, and bridal styling round out the menu — so the whole visit happens in one place.

Can I get there without driving?

The Cape Cod RTA Sealine route runs the Route 28 corridor between Falmouth and Hyannis and stops at Mashpee Commons. Check the current CCRTA timetable before you travel, as Cape routes and frequencies change with the season.

Can I book a color and a cut in one visit?

Yes, and most of our color guests do. Mention both when you book so we can allow the time. If you’re adding a smoothing treatment, we’ll sequence it properly — color first, then smooth — so neither service compromises the other.
